Uniting campus ministries for over 20 years

Campus Renewal began with two students praying for revival at the University of Texas at Austin in the early 90s. As they did this, they quickly discovered a hindrance in ministry on campus: the body of Christ was divided. Seeking to change this, they started Campus Renewal and began uniting campus ministries in prayer and mission. In 10 years, the number of students involved in campus ministry nearly tripled! Since then, the ministry has influenced hundreds of campuses, and hopes to see God spread this blessing to every campus in America.

The Model

Ultimately, Campus Renewal wants to see every campus saturated with the Gospel of Jesus. This means every people group is witnessed to, from the track team to the dorms, from the Greek communities to the student government.

By uniting campus ministries in united prayer and collaborative mission, Campus Renewal strategically identifies where the Body of Christ is or isn’t present, changing the culture of operating in isolation.
